Train Your Brain to Diminish Risk of Falls

As we age, our reaction time decreases, which can contribute to an increased risk of

tripping and falling. To avoid falls and injuries, the efficiency of these sensorimotor

processes can be improved by brain exercising (or training) by participating in

mentally stimulating games like crossword puzzles, cards, mahjongg, etc. When

combined with increased physical activity, the effects are even greater.
